Maple Digital Technology International Private Limited - Limited Warranty for Pre-Owned Devices

  • This Limited Warranty ("Warranty") is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty provided by Maple Digital Technology International Private Limited ("Maple Digital Technology International", "we", "us", or "our") to the original purchaser ("you", "your", or "Customer") of a certified pre-owned electronic device ("Device" or "Product") sold through Maple Digital Technology International or its authorized sales channels or resellers, including but not limited to Laptops, Desktops, Mobile Phones, Smart Watches & similar electronic gadgets.

    This Warranty is in addition to and does not affect, your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in India.

    By purchasing a Device from Maple Digital Technology International, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Warranty.


Warranty Coverage and Term

  • Maple Digital Technology International warrants that the hardware components of the certified pre-owned Device are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) published usage guidelines, for a period of six (6) months from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period").
  • Cosmetic imperfections such as minor scratches, dents, or signs of prior use do not affect the performance of the Device and are not covered under this Warranty.
  • This Warranty is valid only within the territory of India and only for Devices purchased through Maple Digital Technology International or its authorized stores/kiosks and website ( www.maplestore.in ).
  • The coverage provided under this Warranty is similar in scope to that of the original OEM, subject to the limitations & exclusions set forth herein.

Scope of Warranty Service

  • If a valid claim is received during the Warranty Period, Maple Digital Technology International will, at its sole discretion & subject to applicable laws:

  • Repair the Device using new or OEM-certified pre-owned parts;
  • Replace the Device with a unit of the same model or a functionally equivalent model (replacement Devices may differ in colour, finish, or cosmetic condition);
  • If repair or replacement is not commercially viable, issue a store voucher of up to 75% of the original invoice value, redeemable only toward the purchase of another preowned device from Maple Digital Technology International's official store or website.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

  • This Warranty does not cover:

    Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic issues (scratches, dents, discolouration);

    Batteries or consumables

    Damage from accident, abuse, liquid contact, fire, power surge, or natural disasters;

    Improper use, installation, maintenance, or storage;

    Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering;

    Software issues or third-party application failures;

    Devices with:

  • Active locks (e.g., Apple's Find My iPhone, Google FRP);
  • Forgotten/inaccessible PINs, passwords, or biometric locks;
  • Devices with defaced, altered, or illegible serial numbers;

    Devices that are stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented during the warranty claim process;

    Accessories (e.g., chargers, earphones, cables);

    Devices no longer owned by the original purchaser;

    Use of unauthorized accessories or non-compatible power sources including but not limited to power fluctuations;

    Devices not purchased directly from Maple Digital Technology International or its authorized channels.


Customer Responsibilities

  • To avail of warranty service, you must:

    Back up all data and remove personal files;

    Disable security features including:

  • Find My iPhone (FMIP),
  • Google FRP lock,
  • PINs, passwords, biometric locks;
  • Remove SIM cards, memory cards, and personal accessories;

    Provide valid proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) & KYC documents upon request, to comply with the local law of the land.

    Maple Digital Technology International is not responsible for data loss, privacy breaches, or service denials due to non-compliance with the above.


Pick-Up, Repair, and Delivery Process

  • Customers must initiate a claim through Maple Digital Technology International Customer Support. Maple Digital Technology International will arrange for doorstep pick-up of the Device at a nominal cost of Rs 299 to cover the logistics charges. Our Call-center team will generate a payment link to process the payment once the claim is reported and confirmed.

    The Device will be assessed at an authorized service centre. The feasibility of repair or other remedies is at Maple Digital Technology International's sole discretion.

    Based on the assessment:
    The Device will be repaired and returned using genuine or certified pre-owned parts;

    If repair is not feasible or cost-effective, Maple Digital Technology International may:

  • Offer a replacement Device of the same or equivalent specifications (colour or variant may differ at Maple Digital Technology International's discretion);
  • If unavailable, issue a voucher for up to 75% of invoice value, redeemable for another pre-owned device from Maple Digital Technology International's store or website.
  • Maple Digital Technology International will not be liable for pre-existing cosmetic conditions or minor changes (e.g., scratches, scuffs) that may result from handling, shipping, or disassembly performed with reasonable care.

    Customers are encouraged to document the condition of the Device before pickup. Maple Digital Technology International reserves the right to reject fraudulent or exaggerated damage claims.


Warranty Limitations and Transfer

  • This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser named on the invoice.

    Replacements and repairs are covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.

    Any store voucher issued in lieu of repair:

  • Is valid for a limited period as stated;
  • Is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash;
  • May only be redeemed for similar products (e.g., iPhone to iPhone) from Maple Digital Technology International's official channels.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

  • Maple Digital Technology International shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, ,including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, loss of goodwill, or business interruption;
  • Maple Digital Technology International's total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Device.
  • Some jurisdictions may not allow certain exclusions, so these limitations may not apply.


Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • This Warranty is governed by the laws ofIndia. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Warranty shall be subject to theexclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
